The George Gervin GameAbove Center has strict rules on what is allowed inside the arena. Please let your friends and family know:

LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR OR AT HOME
|
There will not be any secure space to store your belongings during the ceremony. Please don’t bring anything into the Gervin Center that you can’t fit inside your pocket. Purses and other larger items that you can’t carry with you during the ceremony should be left at home, with your family, or securely in your vehicle.
All individuals will enter through a metal detector upon entry, just like the airport.
Allowed Items (subject to inspection):

- Diaper bags
- Medically necessary items
- Child carriers
- Small clutch purses (maximum size 4.5″ x 6.5″)
- Clear bags (no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″) or gallon-sized Ziploc bags (one side must be completely free of decoration)

- Weapons (e.g., handguns, tasers, chemical sprays)
- Fireworks
- Knives, box cutters, scissors
- Laser pointers
- Bags (e.g., book bags, purses, briefcases, backpacks, duffel bags, luggage, paper bags, camera bags, gift bags, wrapped gifts)
- Balloons, beachballs, or other projectiles
- Selfie sticks
- Banners with poles/sticks
- Umbrellas with pointed tips
- Skateboards or rollerblades
- Noise-making devices
