We will see you on Sunday, May 3 at the George Gervin GameAbove Center!

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE KEY DETAILS:

Arrive no later than 1PM
If you arrive after 1 PM you will not be permitted to walk in Commencement.

Do not bring anything in that you can't fit in your pocket.
There will not be anywhere to store items during the event. Purses and fanny packs and not permitted.

Children must be left with an accompanied adult before entering the arena.
They are not permitted in the Graduate Staging Area. Childcare is not available.

Plan to stay for the entire ceremony
To respect all of our graduates and their accomplishment, everyone must stay for the duration of the ceremony.

Use the restroom before you enter the staging area
Restrooms are not available for use during the ceremony.

If you need a snack, bring it in your pocket.
Water will be provided in the Graduate Staging Area.

YOUR STEP-BY-STEP COMMENCEMENT DAY GUIDE:

Utilize Parking Options: There is plenty of parking at and around the arena.
Arrive on Time: Graduates are expected to arrive at 12:30 PM.
Entry to the Graduate Staging Area past 1 PM is not allowed. Guests may arrive anytime before the ceremony starts at 2 PM.
Find the Graduate Entrance: Cleary flags and our Clancy mascot will be stationed at Graduate Entrance Gate 1 outside the building to welcome you (see map above).
Split Off from Your Guests: Guests use Entrance A. Everyone is required to go through a Security Checkpoint. Please share this link of prohibited items with friends and family prior to the ceremony.
Proceed to the Staging Area: Signage and staff will lead you inside to the lower level Graduate Staging Area where graduates will gather (see map below).
Find Your Registration Line: There will be different Registration Stations depending on whether you are earning your Master's (Station 1), Bachelor's (Station 2), or Associates/Certificate (Station 3).
Get Your Lapel Pin: Visit the Alumni Table for information on how to stay involved with Cleary, plus a small gift.
Pick Up Your Regalia: If you are eligible for Bachelor's Degree honor cords, you will find them at the Special Services Table. Honor cords are not bestowed upon Master's level students.
Take a Last Look: A Gowning Station with mirrors will be available to ensure you're camera ready.
Take Your Place: Graduates will line up and wait to enter the arena. Expect to stand for some time. Limited seating will be available for those who need it.
Stay to the End: The ceremony is expected to last until 4 PM. Graduates and guests should plan to stay through the entire ceremony, as graduates will not be permitted to exit the arena before closing.
Post-Commencement Meet-Up: After the ceremony, gather outside between Exits C & D. This is a great time to take photos with family, friends and Clancy, of course!
